Akinbobola Lauds Remi Olatubora Elevation to SANship Cadre
Chairman Coalition 2020, Otunba Akinshola Akinbobola has felicitated with the former Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of Ondo State, Barrister Remi Olatunbora on his conferment to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) by the Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee (LPPC).
In a statement signed by the Secretary of the Media Committee, Coalition 2020, Akinbobola said the conferment of the former Attorney General into the Legal Silk Cadre is well deserved.
According to the statement, Olatubora is an outstanding Constitutional lawyer who is very vast and astute in Electoral Matters.
The statement added that “Olatubora was the Chairman of Ondo State Sports Council when Akinbobola was also a Senior Special Assistant on Sports Development during the administration of the immediate past Governor of Ondo state, Dr Olusegun Mimiko, we both worked assiduously for the election and re-election of the former Governor into office.”
“The statement reiterated that both Akinbobola and Olatubora have worked together to attain a couple of political feats and sporting excellence, especially during their days in the Labour Party that won the first and second term elections for Iroko.
“I have no doubt in my
mind that his elevation to the highest pinnacle of the legal profession is never a fluke, but as a result of his hard work and consistent professional focus.”
“I’m glad that his dream of receiving the highest title in the legal profession has finally came to fruition”.
