Coalition 2020 in Ondo State deeply sympathise with the people of Ifon in Ósè Local Government, Irele Community and Ondo state Government over the gruesome elimination of a First Class Monarch (Olufon of Ifon) in the state and the recent violent Bank robbery that resulted in killings and injuring of people in Irele.
The Chairman of the Coalition prayed to God to give the families and the entire state the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable lose of the Monarch and those that died in Irele.
While condoling the state over the death of the Monarch, the Coalition 2020 Chairman, Otunba Akinsola Akinbobola called on Amotekun Corps and other Security agencies to as a matter of urgency up their ante to get rid of all criminal elements terrorising the state.
The Coalition Chairman urged the security agencies to put machineries in place to ensure the immediate arrest and prosecution of those that are involved in the killing of the Monarch and the robbers that robbed the bank.
He reiterated that Nigeria Army in conjunction with the Police should again comb the forests in and around the Northern Senatorial District of Ondo state with a view to flush out these criminal elements.
The former Special Adviser to the immediate past Governor of the state on political and Mobilisation matters commended the Nigerian Police for their prompt response to the kidnapping of the wife of the Chief of Staff to the Ondo State Governor.
He admonished them to put the incidents that arose from the #ENDSARs saga behind them and get back to work and discharge their duties with utmost professionalism. And ensure Ondo state is safe for the inhabitants and investors.
