…Tunji-Ojo Is A Certainty We Can’t Sacrifice For Uncertain Rotation
Community Leaders from two Akoko Communities, Arigidi and Iye, have appreciated the good works of the member representing Akoko North East/North West Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.
This was made known at an event organized by the community leaders to mobilize support for Tunji-Ojo in Arigidi Akoko today.
The Zaki of Arigidi Akoko, HRM Oba Yisa Olanipekun while addressing the huge crowd at his palace noted that what Tunji-Ojo Ojo has done under two years is enough to convince the people that he was ready to serve before he contested.
According to the monarch, “I am more concerned with the development of Arigidi and Akoko as a nation. Tunji-Ojo is an agent of change and we will always support him to continue his laudable strides amongst us”
“Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo is a man who has a clear cut vision of what he plans to do in our constituency, and so far he has done the unprecedented among us as we have never witnessed development of this magnitude in a very long time. We trust his mandate and we will always do all within our power and God given resources to support him” he added
Also, Rt. Hon. Makanjuola Segunota, House leader of the Akoko North West legislature, who spoke on behalf of all Councillors in the local government said Tunji-Ojo is a certainty that cannot be sacrificed on the alter of an uncertain rotation.
“Our representative, Tunji-Ojo has amazed us and we can’t but support him if he pushes to represent us again
” He is a certainty and we can’t sacrifice him. His works have erased anything about rotation and on behalf of all the Councillors in the local government, we are ready to work for his return.”
Present at the occasion are various cultural groups, traditional rulers, political and religious leaders and Youth/Students and members from the two communities.
