Prof. Ajibefun Expresses Gratitude, Best Wishes At Xmas
The Vice Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria, Professor Igbekele Amos Ajibefun, has expressed heartfelt gratitude to folks for the various support recieved during his tenure as the 5th Substantive Vice Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University.
He thanked those who celebrated with him at the Thanksgiving programme held recently in his honour.
The Vice Chancellor, who attributed the success of his administration to the sturdy support given by the governor of of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, the cooperation of members of management and the brilliant contributions of the staff of AAUA, thanked the entire staff and student of AAUA for their love and support. He wished the University Community peace and progress at christmas and the University steady successes in the years ahead.
In a statement personally signed by the Vice Chancellor whose tenure elapses 5th January, 2020, and released to the media, Professor Ajibefun thanked all and sundry and prayed for successes in the new year.
The statement reads:
“EXPRESSION OF GRATITUTE
I wish to generously convey my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who did contribute in the various ways to the success of my tenure as Vice Chancellor and all who made the Thanksgiving programme held in my honour a success.
My especial indebtedness and profound gratitude to the immediate past governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, and the present governor of Ondo State and Visitor to AAUA, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, without whose trust, support and magnanimity the story would not have been so lustrous.
I appreciate, quite immensely, the suppport of all government functionaries, distinguished members of the state House of Assembly, Chair of AAUA Governing Council, Dr. Tunji Abayomi, and Council Members for honouring me with their invaluable presence.
My utmost gratitude to the Royal Fathers, religious leaders, AAUA’s Principal Officers, members of AAUA Senate, members of the Federal University of Technology, FUTA, the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo; Professors, and all AAUA staff for their various support and presence.
My family members, inlaws, friends and associates are very deeply appreciated for demonstrating love and support.
I am so appreciative and I wish you all unceasing blessings of God at Christmas and successes in the new year!
