The House of Representatives member, representing Ondo East and West Federal Consistuency, Honorable Abiola Peter Makinde has sponsored yet again, another three of his consistuents to study for their MScs in Norway.
Hon Makinde who is also the Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Federal Character, has undertaken to sponsor Samuel,Abosede and
Kayode , two of which are first class graduate students and one,a second class upper graduate. Samuel who studied Civil Engineering in Nigeria will now be studying Project Management in Norway. Kayode, who studied physics in Nigeria will now be studying Material Science and Engineering in Norway and finally, Bosede a graduate of Pharmacy in Nigeria will now be studying Global Health in Norway. This is in fulfilment of his WEALTH agenda which stands for Water,Education,Agriculture,Light,Training and Health. Under T for Training which this sponsorship is a part of, is the training of skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled consistuents.
The Federal lawmaker alongside his wife, Dr Rhoda Makinde through her non-governmental foundation, DROMI, is sponsoring well over 20 students in different parts of the world all of who would now be joined by these latest three. Students all over the world including Cyprus, India, Belarus, United States, Sweden and now Norway have been impacted in no little way by the good Honorable. Beneficiaries of this training, who had gone through the process while being personally supervised and mentored by Hon Abiola Makinde have now had their visas.
While appreciating the legislator, the elated students stated emphatically how this kind of commitment to genuine leadership is the first and only one that they are witnesses to. They also emphasized the undeniable impact that this will definitely make on their careers positively.
Ondo East and West is surely in safe hands with Hon Abiola Makinde and the destinies of our youths are being rekindled by the sense of duty and awareness of our representative.
