The Executive Governor of Ondo State Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN has continued to set the pace of his administration running by ensuring the appointment and subsequent announcement of trusted individuals and allies who will be forming part of his administration.
While many people have praised the Governor for taking such a swift and fast approach to kick-starting his 2nd term tenure as the Governor of the Sunshine State, many have continue to raise eyebrows over these appointments as they believe that it favours a part more than the others
The office of the Secretary to the State Government is one of the most highly converted offices, one which Akure indigenes hope will come their way; however from all indications, Akure will not be opportuned to have its son holding the highly prestigious office.
Reason for this is not far fetched, the low and disappointing support gotten from the people of Akure towards the re-election bid of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN would later prove a stumbling block in their bid to secure this spot for an Akure indigene.
It would be recalled that the candidate of the opposition Party during the last governorship election in Ondo State was from Akure and many of its political class opted to support their kinesmen
