Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, BTO, as being fondly addressed by his fans and associates, is a man who has proven to be one with different dimensions to his trades. The federal lawmaker who doubles as Chairman House Committee on Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, is a man of distinctions.

Representing Akoko North East/ North west, Tunji-Ojo, has scored a number of great goals since his election into the legislative chamber..

He has remained untiring in his resolve to strategize on ways to improve on the fortunes of his peoples, hitting the ground running and deciding that he would do whatever it takes to be proactive. Part of the outcome of his intervention in a short while was the award of contracts for emergency repairs of a few roads in Akoko North East/ North West Federal Constituency and the inclusion of one project in Akoko South East/South West Federal Constituency, in NDDC’s 2019 budget. Also, Far from resting on his oars, among other things, BTO is taking steps in bringing the attention of the federal government to the challenge being faced by the riverine communities in the Ondo State.

It is on the heel of his commendable performance and positive influence people his people have decided to celebrate him by hosting a thanksgiving and reception all in his honor.

The Akoko Northeast/West Federal Constituency of Ondo state has announced plans to host a civic reception and Thanksgiving service in honour of the lawmaker representing the constituency, Hon Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo. According to the organisers of the event, the two-day event holds on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th October, 2019 respectively at Oke -Agbe in Akoko area of Ondo state.

While the Civic Reception will hold at St George’s Primary School Field Ground in Oke- Agbe on Saturday, it will be followed with a Thanksgiving service at Archdeacon Lennon Anglican Church on Sunday. What is worthy of note is that while great sons and daughters of the sate are expected to be at the event in their numbers, number four citizen of the nation in person of the Speaker House of the Representatives, Rt. Honorable Femi Gbajabiamila.
