Sen. Tolu Odebiyi Preaches Love At Christmas.
The Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District in the National Assembly has urged Nigerians to love one another as clearly highlighted in the holy book.
Sen. Tolu Odebiyi, who is also the Vice Chairman Senate Committee on Federal Capital Territory maintained that Christ portrayed love in His time, hence all shades of love and peace should be embraced during the festive season and beyond.
The Ogun West Senator noted that it’s through His life and presence in our hearts that we can learn to love ourselves and others.
He also urged fellow Christians to use the occasion for the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ to pray for the country to overcome her security and socio-economic challenges.
In his statement, Odebiyi said “All of us should embrace the virtues and teachings of Christ Jesus”.
“I join our fellow Christians around the world to rejoice in the birth of our Saviour”.
“And as we retell the story of the birth of Christ on that Holy Night, we should also remember His eternal message of boundless love, compassion and hope.”
While thanking Ogun people for their loyalty and support for the All Progressives Congress (APC), Odebiyi said “Let’s show love to our neighbours and be guided by the gospel of Christ in our thoughts and conducts”.
