Members of the Public in Ondo State has decried the pathetic state of its medical centers. According to the findings, it has been discovered that the various public health centers in state lacks the infrastructure and manpower to accommodate patients for treatment.
During a visit to one of the facility, it was discovered that many of the patients who are brought into the facility for treatment were attended to on the floor or makeshift bed because of the lack of beds which has become a prominent feature of the facility.
Also it’s stated by one of the patients who pleaded anonymous that there are not enough doctors to attend to them and this has led to ugly experiences of many of the patients brought into the facility because they could not access immediate medical attention
This is a clarion call to the Ondo State Government under the leadership of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, the executive Governor of the State to urgently find a lasting solution to this ugly situation by ensuring the expansion and provision of more infrastructures too boast the health sector in the state, also members of the public has also enjoined the Akeredolu led administration to ensure that it employs more qualified medical doctors in its various health centers
