Dr Doyin Okupe, a former senior special assistant on public affairs to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan has not made hidden his intention to contest for the office of the Nigerian President come 2023.

It is one which he has continued to boldly and courageous give voice to in the past few months; explaining to all Nigerians why he is the best fit to rescue the nation amidst its various mirage of challenges

Given the wealth of experience possessed by the elder State man who has proven himself a worthy material to lead the nation at a critical time at this, it’s no gainsaying to posit that Nigerians would be definitely making a good choice in giving there trust and mandate to a man like Doyin Okupe.

Since he made his 2023 presidential ambition known, he claims he has the master plan for arresting the deteriorating security in the country.

The nation is currently faced with severe security challenges which has in no small measure threatened the sovereign status of the nation and the inability of the current administration to effectively tackled this challenge, leading to its politicization has aggravated the situation.

According the him, all he need is a term to contribute his quota if elected as the president of Nigeria, one through which he intends to use to create and set the path for the reengineering of the nation

Doyin Okupe has made central to his mission the “Restructuring Agenda” one which he has continued to reiterate that it execution will finally see to the laying of the foundation for a new Nigeria.

According to him,” the very foundation upon which Nigeria stands on has been shaken to its very core, failure to address and resolve this from the foundation will prove disastrous to the federal structure of the nation”

He believes that without restructuring the nation, or having someone like him who is ready to take the bull by the horn to lead the charge to restructure Nigeria, the nation is destined for the gallows.
“Nigerians must wake up and rise up to the reality of their true state, the ruling political class came into power making restructuring promises amongst the various electoral promises which they gave to convince Nigerians to give them their votes, however it’s quite saddening and pathetic to realize that nothing has been done so far” he once stated
The year 2023 indeed is a very important one for Nigerians in the course of its history and development as a sovereign and independent nation, one which must be taken with very note of seriousness as it demands; Doyin Okupe represent a new different breed of conscious Nigerians who are ready to bring the much needed change to Nigeria.
