Ondo 2020: Hon. Omolafe Condemns Recent Attacks in Akure
It’s rather pathetic and discouraging to witness the recent unfortunate incidents which is now fast becoming a feature of our reality in Akure,Ondo State even as we prepare for the Gubernatorial Polls come October 10.
We have always known Akure to be a peaceful terrain, we must resist every attempt by unscrupulous elements to change this narrative. We must hold on to our identity as a people known for peace.
The People of Akure are Progressives and Elites, they understand the need to vote their conscience and are equally noted to have always supported and voted candidates who they believe has the capacity to bring about a positive change to the state. Their will must not be taken away from them
This is the beauty of the democracy we have worked so hard to fight for, it must be protected. I hereby implore the good sons and daughters of the Sunshine State to shun violence and embrace peace.
