Ondo 2020 : Egunjobi As A Better Alternative

As the race to determine the next occupant of Alagbaka Government House continue to hot up, a new breath of fresh air has joined the fray. He is a 42 year old Egunjobi Adeyinka Komoru from Ikare Akoko. He is better known amongst his supporters as Sileto. On a daily basis, he enjoys an intimidating quantum of support that signals his firm preparedness to become the number one citizen of Ondo State come 2020.
Sileto is a leader who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way. He is fully prepared to inspired the people of Ondo State to dream more, learn more, do more, become more and achieve more. He is a core progressive who has been a member of a progressive party since 1999; when it was AD before the attendant stages of metamorphosis from AC to ACN and later to APC.
Adeyinka desires for Ondo State an
efficient and functional civil service that will guarantee prompt and quality service delivery. He plans to engage in massive empowerment of the youth and women in Ondo State through diverse ways if elected. He plans to roll out various programmes such as Youth Talent Discovery, Entertainment Talent Support, Talents Harnessing in Sports, Education and Creativity.
Egunjobi has also developed a developmental blueprints that involves organizing women into cooperatives for easy access to interest free and revolving loans, infrastructural upgrade and expansion. Also in his blueprint is
affordable and functional educational system in which teachers’ welfare will be given a priority. He also plans to embark on massive upgrading of educational infrastructure to international standard across the state; in addition to priority support to technical and vocational education.
Adeyinka has developed a blueprint for an effective health care system that will cater for wellness of the people and ensure rural communities upgrade and development. He also plans to develop and create massive employment through the revolutionizing of agriculture and ago-allied industries. He equally plans to empower farmers in the state by assisting them with mechanized tools, improve seedling, fertilizers and access to agricultural experts.
Aside being a youthful leader, Egunjobi Adeyinka combines honesty with integrity. He posses the ability to inspire others to greater service delivery. He is such a very passionate person who has a good listening ears. He is very well known for his ability to consistently make good decisions and he is also loaded with creative and innovative ideas to transform the Sunshine State.
He has severally described his ambition as a divine call to serve the people of the Sunshine State to the best of his abilities. Sileto had posited that he was not surprised with reaction of the people to his
exciting aspiration which has been setting many tongues wagging. On what inspired his gubernatorial ambition, he responded thus: “As a private citizen, I have done a lot to alleviate the suffering of our people, but government remains the only platform to reach the larger percentage of the people. I belong not only to the youth, but to the entire communities of Ondo state”.
On what he hope to do differently, he also responded this way: “I will make use of the energy, the enthusiasm, the intellectual and the physical abilities of the youth to drive our industrial, agricultural and entrainment revolution to create jobs for our teeming population. I am ready to serve my people and to bring about a rapid socio- economic development to our dear state”.
The Microbiology graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and holder of MSC in Microbiology from Covenant University Ota has
worked in various establishments where he held sensitive positions and distinctly left his indelible mark of service. At present, he is the Chief Executive Officer of LinearAid Global Resource, a company that specializes in sales of medical diagnostic equipment. The company is also involved in the provision of cutting edge medical diagnostic services.
Adeyinka has dismissed the insinuation of being a green horn in politics at several fora and has consistently exuded overly optimism that he has what it takes to wrestle the party’s ticket from the incumbent governor, Rotimi Akeredolu. He also has a firm belief that it is only God that gives power to whoever He wishes. According to him, “My chance is very bright indeed. The whole citizenry are disenchanted with the unsatisfactory level of development in the state. There is a total breakdown of trust between the people and the government in power”.
The man with an evident outstanding leadership qualities can readily boast of a mass movement of the people that are resolutely against the ruling government that he had severally described as under performing in power. In his words, “Our chances are bright, and we are determined to give it all our best efforts. I am a unifying factor that represents the aggrieved aspirants and the forgotten members of the APC that formed the grassroots and qualify as the party’s pillars”.
Meanwhile, topmost on the vision of Sileto for Ondo State is the desire and readiness to sacrifice his youthful energy, resources, and dreams for the development and uplifting of the state from strictly agrarian and civil service state to a modern, industrialised and investors friendly state.
Egunjobi has worked so hard to develop his political structures in all the local governments and wards of Ondo state. He has also gained the trust and support of the people by constantly engaging them. He is an incurable believer in divine assistance. According to him, “My ambitious is divinely ordained and for this purpose I was born, therefore, no mortal born of a woman can say no, when God has decreed yes”.
Egunjobi Adeyinka is a man that has always have his eyes on leadership right from the secondary school day when he was made the school’s Assistant Senior Prefect.
He was later elected the President, Corpers Welfare Committee of Ayamelum Local Government Area as a result of his sense of duty, integrity and love for quality service.
- He is a member of American Society of Microbiology and Nigerian Institute of Management. He also holds a Certificate in Leadership Development from African Leadership Development Centre and in Journalism from Timbuktu Media Lagos. Egunjobi is a devout Christian, a philanthropist and a patron of many charitable organizations. He is also an ardent respecter of family values and his marriage has been blessed with children.
