The Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Right Honourable (Prophet) Oleyelogun Bamidele David celebrates his ‘Alma-mater at 50. The school was founded on 3rd September, 1972.
In the three day programme, the old student association of the School has series of activities for the celebration which started on Wednesday 28th September, 2022 with thanksgiving at The Apostolic Church of Christ, Ilara-Mokin.
Amazingly, Mr. Speaker was found in the school uniform with his school bag at his back at the ‘Assembly Ground’ on Thursday morning 29/09/2022. It was a total reunion as old friends and classmates met happily again.
Oleyelogun narrated the story of Senior/Junior relationship in the school was a funny one most especially his relationship with Mr. Ayodeji Oladipupo (form five student) a.k.a AYULA former General Manager of Premier and Alaafia Hotel, Ibadan whom he served as junior student (form one) when he was in the school was a wonderful story which put smile to the people’s face
Some of the products of the school were identified in high positions in government and non-governmental organisations across the globe. To mention few of the celebrants are: The Speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon (Prophet) Oleyelogun Bamidele David, the Permanent Secretary, Ondo State Ministry of Establishment and Training Mrs Atunse, the President, old Student Association, the Apostolic High School, Ilara-Mokin, Dr. Gabriel Aladegbaye, the National President Egbe Omo Ilara-Mokin, Dr. (Mrs) Oluwayemisi Olorunshola, Mr. Kehinde Ekunrin a.k.a Koko, Dr. Adedayo Afe, Mr. Emmanuel Omotosho, Mr. Waid Fadola, Mr. Olufemi Aladegbaye, Mr. Joseph Fadola and the former regent, Ilara-Mokin Engr. (Mrs) Adegbehingbe Adeyeba nee Ojopagogo,, also in attendance is the founder of AkureOwolowo CMU-Mr. Samuel Adebusuy, Mr. M. A Adeyanju etc.
Pa. Sehinde Arogbofa delivered a lecture as one of the past Principal of the school. Consequently, the current principal Mrs. Oluwakemi Afolakemi Akinjolire, all the staff both the old students and current students of the school entertained themselves with sport activities.
The programme will end on Friday, 30th September, 2022 at school promises with commissioning of a Block of Six classroom by Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, Governor Ondo State.
