Ondo State House of Assembly has congratulated Nigeria as it attains 62 years of Independence.
Speaking through the Speaker, Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Prophet) Oleyelogun Bamidele, the Lawmakers said the country would continue to be thankful to God for the unity and progress it is witnessing, despite the challenges it is facing.
Amidst security challenges,the Speaker advised that all as the electioneering campaign starts,all Political Parties activities should be conducted with modesty without element of thuggery.
In the same vein appealing to the Federal Government and ASUU to agree and call off the strike.
In a related development, Oleyelogun called on international organisations to show more concerns on ending the Russia/Ukraine War
Praying to God for a peaceful co-existence and development, Oleyelogun called on individuals to continue to do what is right at all times, noting that Nigeria would only witness rapid growth through the collective efforts and cooperation of all and sundry.
The Speaker who assured of the support of the House towards the Nation Building at all times, expressed appreciation to Ondo State Governor,Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN on his various landmark achievements in the last Five years of his administration.
While expressing confidence that Nigeria would still be a great nation, Oleyelogun called for all hands to be on deck in order to move the country forward and achieve a common goal of taking Nigeria to Eldorado.
