The Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) has lauded development efforts of the federal Lawmaker representing Akoko North East/North West Federal Constituency, Hon Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.
The group applauded the Federal Lawmaker for his role in advancing the cause of the people irrespective of their religious affiliation during it’s 3 Day Seminar for Imans and Alfas in Akoko North East and North West which was held at the Moslem Primary School, Eshe Ikare Akoko on the 5th of March 2022.
While presenting an award of excellence to Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo who was represented by his mother, Mrs. Yinka Tunji-Ojo, the Chief Imam of Arigidi Akoko, Chief (Shaikh) Jimoh Balogun stated that the led representation of Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo has not only fostered peace among the people of the Federal Constituency but has also given everyone in the community a common platform to thrive and succeed.
According to him,”we are delighted to have a man after God’s heart with us, he has proven to us that he is here to do the work of the Divine amongst us and we are grateful for the gift of him”
The group also admonished him not to relent in advancing the cause of the people as he would always have the support of the majority in the Federal Constituency.
Reacting to the award, Mrs. Yinka Tunji-Ojo appreciated the Islamic body for deeming it fit to recognize Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.
According to her, ” Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo is passionately driven the desire to positively impact the federal Constituency, and he will never relent in ensuring that there’s no stone unturned in achieving this”
She also revealed that the award will serve as a further motivation for the lawmaker in his developmental efforts in the Federal Constituency.
