Hon. Tunji-Ojo, Adeogun, doing the 9th Assembly proud – Gbajabiamila

The Speaker of the House of Representatices, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, has poured encomiums on Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and Ade Adeogun, members representing Akoko North East/ North West and Akoko South East/South West Federal Constituencies. He described them as a member doing the ninth assembly proud with quality works and thoughts.

Gbajabiamila said this, yesterday, while making his remarks during the courtesy call to his office by the traditional rulers in Akoko Federal Constituencies. In all, thirteen (13) kings were present at the National Assembly. The Speaker, who commended the traditional rulers for leading their people to make the right choice in selecting their representatives across Akoko land, said:

“Your representatives, Hon. Tuni-Ojo and Adeogun have demonstrated the true meaning of being a representative; passionate about the constituency, the state and committed to nation building.
They are not only making you proud, they are making us and the rest of the leadership proud. It behoves on us to use them as long as we can use them.”

The Speaker assured the people of the constituency that the ongoing project by the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) would be completed in no distance time.

The Traditional Rulers described the call as an August meeting in September. They were led by the Olukare of Ikare, Oba Akadiri Momoh who appreciated the Speaker for identifying the capacity of their son, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and appointing him Chairman, House committee on Niger Delta Developmemt Commission (NDDC)

While the Obas and their entourage were received by the Speaker, the House Leader, Deputy Minority Whip and other Principal Officers of the Green Chamber, the event was wrapped up with presentation of gift by the Obas to the Speaker.
