Akogun Omole Commends Amotekun and Supare Community Leaders

The Lawmaker Representing Akoko South West Constituency 1 in the Ondo State House of Assembly has given kudos to the Supare Community Leaders, Amotekun personnel and the Police in the area for the superlative job in rescuing two of his Constituents from the den of Kidnappers over the Weekend.

In a Press Release made available to newsmen on Sunday the Lawmaker also showed great appreciation to the Ondo State Government led by Arakunrin Akeredolu,SAN for the establishment of the Amotekun Corps.
He noted that not only did Governor established the corps but also gave them maximum support to them and this has ensured great performance by the state security outfit.

Mr Japhet Balogun and his wife were kidnapped on their way to their farm in Igbegun Supare but in a quick response to the incident the Amotekun Personnel and the Police in the area swung into action and gave the kidnappers a hot pursuit which resulted in the rescue of the couple. Both were unhurt after the rescue operation.

Omole remarked that nothing is too much to invest in the security of the State and he is glad the State Government lived up to expectations.He however asked his Constituents to be vigilant and report any suspicious movement to the authorities as security cannot be ensured by the authorities alone.
