AKOGUN CONGRATULATES AKEREDOLU/AIYEDATIWA

The Lawmaker representing Akoko South West Constituency 1 in the Ondo State House of Assembly Hon.Akogun Olugbenga Omole has congratulated Ondo State Governor,Arakunrin Odunayo Olúwarotimi Akeredolu SAN and the Deputy Governor-Elect Hon.Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on their overwhelming victory in the just concluded Gubernatorial election in the State
Akogun described the victory as an acknowledgement of the good work the governor had rendered to the people of the state in the last three and half years he has been in the saddle.
Akogun in a statement personally signed on Sunday after the official announcement of the winner by INEC stated that Akeredolu’s re-election is a well-deserved judging by his good performance in developing the state and empowering the people.
The Spokesman of Ondo State House of Assembly lauded the people of Ondo state for their courage in coming out in their numbers not only to vote but also to protect their votes and monitor the process till the end.
He commends the people Akoko South West Local Government Area particularly the People of Oka for coming out to vote for our Party All Progressives Congress and for demonstrating a lot of maturity by their peaceful conduct during and after the elections and by so doing disappointing those who had predicted that Ondo State would be engulfed by crisis during the exercise.
The Victory of Akeredolu in Oka was not unexpected because Akeredolu always win elections here.The victory is a collective efforts of all Leaders and members of our Party in their various electoral wards.
Akogun however called on Governor Akeredolu to continue to provide good governance for the people of Ondo state,which was the basis of his incontestable victory in the election.
This election proved once again the love the People of Ondo State have for our dear Arakunrin. However, once again, the people of Ondo have demonstrated their commitment to democracy by voting in a largely peaceful process.
