Dr. Francis Akanbiemu has berated Allen Sowore for his recent attack on the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN.
This happened after Allen Sowore who is an aide to the Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Agboola Ajayi had accused the Governor of neglecting salient state duties to go after frivolous activities.
According to the allegations made by the aide to the Deputy Governor, he claimed that the Governor of Ondo State had embarked on a record of over 800 parties in the last four years and had depleted a reasonable amount of state funds which could have been used for cogent state projects in the process.
Dr. Akanbiemu in his response condemned the position of Sowore, one which he stated was ill-advised and was a product of ill Journalism.
In his words, ” I am completely ashamed of this so called mannerless Sowore with evidence of seeking cheap and worthless attention”
He also added that the media Aide must be called to order in order to prevent him from bringing further shame to himself and those who still have element of respect for him.
Dr Akanbiemu stated that the Ondo State Governor is one of those few governors in Nigeria who are committed to delivering on their mandate as given to him by the people.
