Personality finesse can be likened to the eddies of smoke, it is not something hidden or that can be hidden. The finesse, like a luster radiates all over. This reality is what defines Engr. Aminu Raimi Olayiwola, a seasoned Engineer and workaholic who has achieved so much on the strength of hard work and diligence. Aminu will do anything to prove anyone who cares to see how resilience in the face of trials, doggedness through tough times and ardent faith in God are great virtues anyday.
The distinguished Engineer started his high school at A.U.D. High School,Owo between 1981-1986, after which he proceeded to Imade College,Owo in 1988 where he had his SSCE. He gained admission into Ahmed Bello University, Zaria where he bagged B.Eng in Civil Engineering (1998). Engr. AMINU is a registered member of several professional organisations , among which are COREN. MNSE. MNICE. He has Master’s in Public Administration (Adekunle Ajasin University, (2014) and a master’s in Project Management from the Federal University of Technology, Akure , (FUTA -2017).
Engr. AMINU Joined Ondo State Civil Service (Ministry Of Works) on the12th of March, 2002 as civil Engr.11. He held the following positions in service: Deputy Divisional Engr. at Ikare-Akoko( 2004 – 2007), Divisional Engr. Ondo (2007 – 2009), Principal Resident Engr (Ondo North Senatorial District ) 2009 – 2011, Deputy Chief Resident Engr. 2011 – 2013, Chief Civil Engr (planning & Research dept) 2013 – 2015, Assistant Director ( planning & Research dept) 2015 – march 12th, 2017.
On the 13th of march, 2017, Engr AMINU was appointed as Senior Special Assistant to Ondo State Governor on infrastructure.
Engr. AMINU has been able to achieved the following projects within 100 Day’s in office as SSA.Roads nearly at completion stage includes:Construction of Abusoro ijoka road, Iwalewa road, Akure – 3km. Bajare Okemayo road), idanre – 2.5km.
Jubilee – Ugbe road, ikare – 2.1km.
3No. Box Culverts at Oyinmo & Megida Rental road,Ikare-Akoko. Supare – 1.5km.
Ogbonomo, igbadara & Howlet road, Ifon 2.0km. Sabomi road, Ese-Odo – 2.5km.
Police station road ore – 2.0km.
The efforts of Aminu as it relates to road construction and other infrastructural deeds is a tale of serial successes in whatever way it’s measured. It’s to his sheen of credit he brought his gift and expertise to beat on specific road projects, among which are OSUSTECH road networks , Okitipupa township road, Gulf C. road, Ilara Mokin in Ifedore Local government area of the state, completion of multi storey Engineering building, ministry of works yard, Akure.
Olayiwola comes to every mind with good impressions and a portrayal that communicates thoroughness. He’s deserving of the public’s confidence as a political office holder, just as he’s deserving of the office that he occupies.
