Ondo PDP Party Chairman Calls for Peace; Blames APC for the burnt Secretariat
The Ondo State People’s Democractic Party (PDP) Chairman, Hon. Fatai Adams has blamed the All Progressive Congress (APC) for the burning down of their party secretariat.
The building was razed down by hoodlums on the 21st of October 2020 who took undue advantage of the peaceful protest going on in the state to perpetrate the evil.
The Ondo State Party Chairman stated that after the Secretariat of the APC was razed down by hoodlums who carted away with Covid-19 palliatives which were not shared during the covid-19 period, the APC decided to play politics with the development.
He added that the APC after claiming that the PDP was behind the burning down of their Party Secretariat hired political thugs to burn down the PDP Party Secretariat which was completely razed down.
” The APC was aware of its rejection by the people and its subsequent manipulation of the electoral process which led to its short lived victory and possibly jittery of our party’s effort to approach the tribunal, thereby finding means to destroy document that may be needed at the tribunal”
He enjoined the people of Ondo State to remain calm and to be law abiding as the PDP has called on to the State Commissioner of Police and other heads of Security agencies in the State to hold the APC responsible for any act of arson in the State.
