2023: Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo Unprecedented Strides, Come and See.
When Philip rushed to Nathaniel with the news of having found the Saviour of Mankind, the Messiah, as was prophesied in Nazareth, a sceptical Nathaniel, one who no one can even argue to be racist, asked, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip had only three words as his answer: Come and See.
Seeing is believing. To many, nothing becomes real until it is seen by their two eyes, and nothing is real as that which can be seen and touched.
For the people of Akoko North/ East North West Federal Constituency, the last few years under the leadership and representation of Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo as its democratically elected member at the Federal House of Representatives, it’s been an amazing story for them.
A story of a perfect romance between the people and its elected representative, one which has seen him witness unprecedented level of growth and advancement. One which has given them a pure sense of delight at having a lawmaker who not only understand the demands and yearnings of the people, but one who has given his totality to ensuring that answers are given to the questions of the people.
The people of Akoko North/ East North West Federal Constituency asked for a credible and worthy candidate to represent them and today, the trust and mandate bequeathed to the man who was considered by many as “inexperienced” has given them manifolds fruits of good representation and leadership.
How amazing it is for the people of this region, their once forgotten community have now become the envy of other communities, a reference point of a system that works, a leadership that listens and a representative that represents amazingly well.
Under the leadership and led representation of Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the following has been achieved in the Federal Constituency,Distribution of food item to constituent, Distrubution of 12 Ambulances,4 motorcycles,52 generators to health centers, Iruja-ogosi Afa,okeagbe Akoko, Construction of the Oba Ajana road, Construction of the Okeagbe ikaram road, Construction of the Odoko street Afa okeagbe Akoko, Construction of the Oyin township road, Maths quiz competition for students, Free jamb form and tutorial for 1000 students.
Others are,Rural economic summit and facilitation of grants to market women, Renovaton and furnishing of computer center in Akoko Anglican grammar school,Arigidi Akoko, Rufus giwa road Okeagbe, Construction of the Oyinmo Road, Construction of 1 block of 6 classrooms at Eye oke high school, Oyin Akoko, Construction of 2 blocks of 6 classrooms at Okeagbe High school, Installation of 500KVA Transformer in ikare Akoko, Installation of .500KVA Transformer in Irun Akoko, Borehole in Ikaram Akoko, Arigidi okeagbe road, Borehole in Ajowa Akoko, Borehole in Ikare Akoko, Borehole in okorun,ikare Akoko, Oyin-omuo road and Borehole in Ogbagi Akoko among many others.
Of a truth, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo has brought the people of Akoko North East/ North West Federal Constituency to a state whereby they can say with all confidence to other neighboring communities, that, “Come and See what our dear Son, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo has done for us”
And seeing the massive amount of support which he keeps getting from the people, it’s not brainer to see and realize that the people wants him again.
They have tasted the reality of a good and adequate leadership, they have seen the best of the delivery of campaign promises, and they are ready to push him for the sake of continuity.
The support of the people for the continuity of Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo led administration is not bore out of their love for him only but their commitment to ensure that more is done for their region.
No wonder the Traditional Monarchs in the Region would proceed to do the unprecedented, which was to endorse him got second term.
The kings, the sole custodian of the people, the voice of the gods on earth have spoken for the people and the people in unison has aired their support for BTO.
His support base cuts across the Traditional fathers to the Religious Leaders, Teachers, Market Men and women, Politicians and Youths. No doubt things are different for Akoko North East/ North West Federal Constituency again, all thanks to Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.
