Otetubi roots for Jimoh Ibrahim Ahead of Governorship primaries
A former Commissioner for Natural Resources in Ondo State, Hon. Idowu Otetubi, FCA has thrown his weight behind a gubernatorial aspirant, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, ahead of the upcoming Ondo State governorship primaries
Ibrahim is representing Ondo South Senatorial District at the national assembly and contesting on the platform of the All Progressives Congress.
Otetubi made the endorsement on Saturday in Akure, Ondo State capital
In a statement remark made by him, he said that although there were other good governorship aspirants contesting on the platforms of APC in the state, he remains optimistic that the senator would emerge victorious.
He said: ” I have moved round, and scrutinised the profiles of all guber hopefuls in the State to know how committed they were to the people, and their love for the people of Ondo State. Ibwent to the streets to ask questions, and at the end, we decided to throw my weight behind Senator Jimoh Ibrahim

Otetubi stated that Senator Ibrahim has a clear, compelling vision and idea of where they want to take the state, and how to make it work.
“The good thing is that the APC has said the direct mode of primaries would be adopted. Members of the party will sure come out in their thousands to choose Senator Ibrahim as the governorship candidate of the party”, the statement read
