ZLP Leader Collapses Party Structure For APC in Akoko

Ahead of the October 10 gubernatorial election in Ondo State, a former leader of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) at Auga in Akoko North East Local Government Area, Engr. Steve Giwa has collapsed the party’s structure into that of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

Giwa who recently dumped the ZLP for the APC decided to join the reelection team of Akerodolu in Akoko North East Local Government Area because of the
the extraordinary
performance of the House of Representatives Committee Chairman on NDDC, Hon. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo.

Giwa added that the 30 ZLP executive members that he led at
Isowopo ward II and in Akoko North East Local Government Area have all been taken to the APC to further boost the reelection chances of Governor Akeredolu.

The former chairman of Ondo State Water Corporation however commended Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu for his impressive
performance in Ondo North Senatorial District, particularly in Akoko land. He added that the hilly Oke-Alabojuto road in Ikare Akoko that was hitherto thought impossible to make plain had been delivered by Governor Akeredolu.

“I have come to realize that you can’t be a leader when nobody is following you. I am privileged to lead my people and I am privileged to be loved by my people. We both decided after looking towards left and right, we saw that Arakunrin Akeredolu, the Executive Governor of Ondo State has done tremendously well.

The roads we never thought could come to be and the dualization of Ikare road and Oke-Alabojuto. Our schools had been renovated and constructed across board. He had constructed some and much more than that, I want to appreciate performance of Arakunrin Akeredolu”, said Giwa.
