Withdrawal from House of Representatives Race

I am writing to personally inform you of a decision that I have made regarding my candidacy for the House of Representatives race in the upcoming by-election.

It is with mixed emotions that I announce my withdrawal from the contest. Please understand that this decision was not influenced by any perceived lack of capability to secure victory. On the contrary, I am confident in my abilities and the values I stand for. However, after much careful consideration, I have come to the conclusion that stepping back is in the best interest of our party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to all the members of our great party, the APC, for their unwavering support throughout this journey. Your cooperation, dedication, and belief in my candidacy have been an incredible source of inspiration. I am especially grateful to my esteemed leader, Honorable Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, for his guidance and mentorship.

To all of my loyal supporters, I assure you that this decision was not made lightly. I understand the disappointment and frustration that may follow, but I implore you to remain calm and steadfast in our party’s principles. It is now our responsibility to rally behind whomever the APC chooses to nominate as our representative in the by-election.

I want to emphasize that despite my withdrawal from the race, my commitment and loyalty to the APC remain unwavering. I will continue to actively support our party’s endeavors, whether it be through volunteer work, campaign activities, or any other means necessary. I firmly believe that the APC, with its core values and progressive agenda, is the path to a better future for our constituency and our beloved nation.

Once again, I express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support and belief in my candidacy. Let us all unite under the APC’s banner and work together for a stronger and more prosperous Akoko North and Nigeria as a whole.

Thank you, and may God bless you abundantly.

Alh.Saliu Adekunle
Afin Akoko.
