Why I Dumped PDP for APC- Ade Adeniyi
Former SUBEB Chairman in Ondo State, Otunba Ade Adeniyi, has given reasons for his decision to dump the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ade Adeniyi gave further insight into his decision to join the APC on Tuesday during an exclusive interview by the publisher of Triangle Media, Otunba Femi Salako in Akure.The former member of Ondo State House of Assembly also described his decision to join the All Progressive Congress as one that is well thought out.
The former prominent PDP leader in Ondo East/Ondo West Federal Constituency said his crave for both human and infrastructural developments of his people informed the decision to join the APC.
“I am particular about development, if you don’t have strong institutions, nothing else matters, and where can we get development for your people? I believe that I can only get this for my people where the power is.
“I didn’t move for personal interests, I am not a materialistic person and what I have done when I was in prominent positions are testament to this fact.
“My people can always be rest assured that I will add value to them in all possible ways in my bid to ensure that we get the best out of the system”.
Ade Adeniyi however expressed confidence that the ongoing political controversies in the Ondo State would be resolved soon.
Meanwhile, while speaking on the
2024 governornship election in Ondo State, Adeniyi advised the people to vote wisely as future of the Sunshine State depends on the credibility of its next governor.
