Kingsley Kuku Endorses Tinubu’s Agenda to Transform Niger Delta, Pledge to Tackle Oil Theft
Former Chairman of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Mr. Kingsley Kuku, has thrown his weight behind President Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s determined efforts to revitalize the Niger Delta region and combat the scourge of oil theft.
Speaking during a courtesy visit to the current Interim Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Kuku commended the proactive measures taken by the administration to address critical issues affecting the region’s stability.
“Tinubu is committed to repositioning the Niger Delta and curbing oil theft in the region. His dedication to tackling these challenges is commendable and essential for sustainable development,” Kuku affirmed.
Expressing confidence in the leadership of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, Kuku remarked, “I am certain that Tinubu’s tenure will usher in positive transformations not just for the Niger Delta but for the entire nation. His commitment to justice and dedication to the welfare of all Nigerians, particularly those in the Niger Delta, is unquestionable.”
Kuku, upon his return, has been actively engaging with friends and professional colleagues, strategically aligning his efforts to contribute significantly to the region’s development.
Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of vocational education, advocating for the swift reconstruction of the vandalized Kaiama Vocational Training Centre in Bayelsa State, highlighting its significance in empowering the region’s youth.
“As we witness the return of peace and stability in the region, it’s crucial to rebuild educational institutions like the Kaiama Vocational Training Centre.
The community shouldn’t be penalized for the unfortunate incidents. Vocational education remains pivotal in fostering sustainable growth in the Niger Delta,” Kuku urged.
He commended the appointment of Mallam Nuhu Ribadu as National Security Adviser by President Bola Tinubu, while also highlighting its significance during Nigeria’s critical phase towards socio-economic revival as a positive step forward.
Furthermore, he acknowledged the contributions of past Presidents Goodluck Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari, with whom he worked with, for their respective roles in fostering the nation’s development.
