Why Hon. Kolade Akinjo deserves a shot at continuity

When members of the electorate break the norm, coming out publicly to voluntarily sing praises of their elected public officers, it tells a story of a mandate well used, one which has been of immense benefit to the people.

The facilitation of the construction of the Itebu-Kunmi road by Hon. Kolade Akinjo is one which has brought immense joy and happiness to the people of its community.

For a road which the people have over the years cried over, seeking the assistance of the federal government, the effort of Hon. Kolade Akinjo which eventually saw to the intervention of the Federal Ministry of Works and the Niger Delta Development Commission is highly commendable.

Today age long request of the people of this community has been answered, while the road has posed great danger and unease to them has now become a road which has opened up the town for more economic growth.

Motorists, residents and commuters can now ply this road with comfort, and while they rejoice in bliss of this wonderful democratic dividends and beauty, it’s important that the accolades are given to the deserving.

Hon. Kolade Akinjo has continued to prove his mettle, his years of representing the people has continued to bring yo the people of Ilaje/Ese-Odo great things to identify with.

Kolade Akinjo, love him or hate him, stands out as a unique individual in the political landscape and in the minds of the people of the Ilaje/Ese-Odo federal district because of the way he has carved out a niche for himself.

It is not by chance that the name “Iraye,” as it is affectionately known, has taken a special place in the hearts of our people in the Ilaje/Ese-odo federal constituency. His essentialist views, intrinsic belief in integrity, and principled personal discipline of courage, as evidenced by his educational advancement, human capacity building, and humanitarian support programs within our federal constituency, are testaments to his developmental torches, which outshine even those in our dear state’s Executive arm.

While we look forward to another elective year come 2023, there’s a conscious need for the people to come out en-masse and collectively ensure the continuity of the led representation of Hon. Kolade Akinjo.

His has done credibly well and he deserves the opportunity of continuity come 2023.
