The founder and general overseer of the Love of Christ Generation (C&S), Her Eminence, Rev. Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi, has attributed the success of her ministry to the work of God.
The church celebrated its first anniversary on September 4, 2022. The Lagos centre of the church was inaugurated on September 5, 2021 and consecrated by Pastor Enoch Adeboye of The Redeemed Christian Church of God(RCCG) and other anointed ministers of God in Christendom from different denominations.
The cleric, who celebrated her 15 years of divine ministration is much respected for her philanthropic activities, through which she has touched and changed many lives through her ministry and humanitarian foundation.
She has dedicated much of her life to supporting grassroots initiatives which has seen her touch thousands of lives and received numerous awards.
Speaking during an interview with Triangle News International in the United Kingdom, she said: “It has not been easy, but if the creator of the whole universe is with you, then the journey becomes so easy.
“The Bible in the book of Act of Apostles says, ‘If this work be of God, it will stand forever.’ I can’t thank God enough because it has been Him.
“The story of my life is all about God because I keep finding His mercies.”
Rev. Ajayi also revealed that the acceptance which the C&S has received owing to her contribution and the success of her church is hinged on the fact that God has destined it to be so.
She revealed that since it’s God that called her to the ministry, God himself has been sustaining the growth, hence the reason why the ministry has been generally received by various individuals across religious and ethnic divides.
Rev. Ajayi also added that the Church was built on love and this has continued to inspired many of its activities while reaching out to the members of the public.
All this, she added, has continued to make the Church a well-embraced religious institution.
While addressing her philanthropic gestures, she explained that God has given her the grace to do this hence it has become a way of life for her to help others.
According to her, “God has done it and you understand His words which says: ‘Give and it shall be given unto you.’ Then you have no excuse not to give. When you are giving to the poor, It is God that will pay you back. When I give to others, it is like returning what God has given me.”
While reacting to the presence of Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, in her Church during its last anniversary, she stated that humans are handiwork of God, hence everyone is in God’s hands.
“The last visit of MC Oluomo to my church was the third time I would be seeing him in my life, but we have been talking via phone calls on few occasions before that. MC Oluomo has the fear of his creature at the back of his heart, he would call me, running after me for prayers. When we get to heaven, we will be surprised at the kind of people that we will find there.
“Even some Christians who you would naturally expect to be prayer euthusiats, you will be the one to chase them to come for prayer. This gentleman, there’s something about him, and when I told him about our anniversary, he said he would not only come but would also support with four cows, ten bags of rice. He was not even thinking about it. It means that goodness is in his head.
“He came and even brought his friends, it was there he said he has dropped one million naira into the Church’s account to support the anniversary. This to me impressed me and I made sure I told the while world about it.”
She also explained that the arm of the Church in Nigeria was inspired by the Lord. According to her, without the inspiration and help of the Lord, she would not have been able to achieve anything.
The cleric also enjoined everyone especially religious adherents to embrace the virtues of love as it is only love that can conquers everything.
