Well meaning indigenes of ondo state have continued to preach peace over the political situation in the state.

The latest is from a chieftain of the APC, hon. Bode Obanla.

He appealled to the apc state chairman, Engr Ade adetimehin and other leaders of the party to wade into the political instability between governor rotimi akeredolu and his deputy, lucky Ayedatiwa

Hon Bode Obanla, who hails from Akoko North East Local Government Area suggested that the current efforts by the State House of Assembly to impeach the Deputy Governor is needless and uncalled for.

The apc chief insisted that ondo state can not enjoy the development it deserves while political anarchy drives.

He pointed out that there will be lack of confidence in the apc leadership it hands were folded and allow political crises to roll its ugly head into the system of government adding that the electorate will feel the heat.

Hon Obanla was of the opinion that the crises in the alagbaka seat of power will bring economy of the state to its kneels calling on the state legislature to respect the recommendation of the APC national leadership.

He cautioned the state Assembly from heating up the polity by their continued pressure on the Chief Judge of the state to constitute an impeachment panel as he advised speaker of the assembly, olamide oladiji to begin serious legislative business for the betterment of our dear state rather than chasing the shadow.

However, Hon. Obanla called on political appointees under the current administration to honor established institutions within the state and the office of the governor and that of his Deputy must be respected.

He berated the SSA to the governor on special duties, Doyin odebowale who he described as a mere allien in ondo state for sponsoring media attacks against deputy Governor Ayedatiwa.

The apc chieftain called on elders, leaders and all traditional institutions in the Ondo State to intervene and broker peace between the Governor and his deputy and ensure that development reaches the doorsteps of Ondo State indigenes.

Obanla also wants the first lady, Betty Akeredolu-Anyawu to set out at this critical time to play the role of a mother in the State and that of a wife in her home by ensuring that Mr Governor gets the best of medical attention for his health, rather than allowing politics to dictate the health circumstance of her husband.

In another development, hon Obanla congratulated the minister of interior, Dr Bunmi Tunji Ojo, for the giant strides he has achieved within the shortest period saying ondo state would not have had a better representative than him in the tinubu led cabinet.
