In his efforts to empower the women in his Constituency to become economically self-sufficient and help small scale entrepreneurs who are struggling economically due to the economic fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Sen. Tolu Odebiyi has empowered another set of women in his Constituency by giving out several Sewing Machines, several Grinding Machines and other items to address income inequality.
The Senator who is also the Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on Federal Capital Territory (FCT), will continue to provide the needed support to lift women out of poverty which is the nation’s greatest social challenge in this pandemic period.
Many beneficiaries at the event thanked the Senator for empowering them with the items which will enable them provide the basic needs for their families at this trying time.
The people-oriented Senator has been helping his Constituents to recover from the negative impacts of COVID-19 since its emergence in March 2020 by rolling out various empowerment programmes in his beloved Ogun West Senatorial District.
