The Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Sen. Tolu Odebiyi felicitates with Muslims in his Senatorial District and Nigeria as a whole, on the occasion of the 2021 Eid-el-Kabir celebrations, even as he urged Nigerians to keep praying for the peace and unity of the country.
In a Sallah message, Sen. Tolu Odebiyi said, “We must all imbibe the lessons of obedience and sacrifice demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim, as captured by the holy scriptures”.
The Ogun West Senator also notes, “Nigerians need to reflect on the great lessons of obedience to God’s command learnt from the scripture in order to solve some of the security challenges we are facing today, in the interests of unity, peace, progress and prosperity of our country, Nigeria.”
“As we celebrate, let us not forget the reason for Eid-el- Kabir; an act of absolute faith in Allah and His instructions to us.
We pray Almighty Allah to protect the weak, feed the poor and grant us peace in our Nation.
Once again, I wish our Muslim brothers and Sisters, and indeed all Nigerians a happy Eid-el-Kabir”.
Sen. Odebiyi uses this moment of celebration to implore his Constituents to stay safe by complying with the guidelines as announced by the health authorities in combating the super-contagious COVID-19 Delta variant that has caused devastation in some countries of the world like India and the rest.
