- Remi Olatubora resigns from People Democratic Party.
By a letter dated 7th September 2020, Mr Remi Olatubora Esq tendered his resignation addressed to the State Party Chairman, Fatai Adams. Mr Remi Olatubora is the immediate past Attorney General of Ondo and Commissioner for Justice. Shortly after leaving office as Attorney General in 2017, he went back to Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife for his PhD program specialising on International Criminal Law. He turned in his PhD thesis titled “Challenges of Enforcement of International Criminal Law” in March 2020 after a successful field work at the International Criminal Court at the Hague Netherlands in 2019. He is an author of many law texts including (1) Electoral Law and Practice in Nigeria (2) Election Litigation in Nigeria and (3) The Petition of Dr Olusegun Mimiko and Issues in Nigeria Election Law. He was one of the leading counsel to Hope Uzodinma Governor of Imo State and Dapo Abiodun Governor of Ogun State. He currently teaches Constitutional Law, Criminal Law and Law of Evidence at the prestigious Elizade University pro bono.
