Oyinlola’s successful completion of the Certificate in Public Leadership and Policy demonstrates his commitment to fostering positive change and driving effective public policy development. Dr Adewale Oyinlola was earlier this year conferred with a fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Forensics and Certified Fraud Investigators of Nigeria (CIFCFIN).

The founder of the Institution and former Minister of Education, Dr. (Mrs) Oby Ezekwesili, presented the certificate to Dr Oyinlola, at the 2023 graduation of the School of Politics, Policy and Governance (SPPG), at the weekend in Abuja. In her speech, the former Minister of Education said, the School of Politics, Policy and Governance (SPPG), is the answer to bad governance in Africa.

Mrs Ezekwesili said it was not the destiny of the continent to be governed by the worst set of leaders among the citizens, urging Africans to reject and act to correct the trend.

She said Africa could become the greatest continent in the 21st century if citizens unite to change its leadership system.

In her parting shot, she charged the graduands to maintain the tempo of excellence and good character in their future endeavours, with a warning that the SPPG would not hesitate to withdraw the certificates of those who would err.

The SPPG Vice Chancellor, Alero Ayida-Otobo, referred to the graduates as custodians of Africa’s future and urged them to uphold the virtues of integrity, excellence and resilience.

The School Class of 2023 graduated 180 students. The graduates include Mr Sam Hart, Dr Aderonke Kujore, Chief (Mrs) Adenike Emmanuel Olumide, Dr Olu Abayomi, Mrs Omolola Thompson-Duke, Engr Adeola Benson, Ayotomiwa Ayodele, Mr Paul Abbey and many other students from Kenya, Cameroon, Zimbabwe and others African nation.

The occasion was graced by Nigeria’s former Minister of Education, Dr Oby Ezekwesili, the Vice Chancellor of SPPG, Alero Ayida-Otobo, A former two-time Federal Minister in Nigeria and former Director General, Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), Mr Frank Nweke Junior, the Chairman, Ikosi Ejinrin LCDA, Epe Division, Lagos State, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo and a host of other dignitaries.
