ONDO STATE PDP VISITS THE MIMIKO’S TO COMMISERATE WITH THEM ON THE DEATH OF MAMA MUINAT D. MIMIKO
The leadership of the PDP in Ondo state under the chairmanship of Engr. Clement Faboyede paid a condolence visit to the home of a former Governor of Ondo state, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko to commiserate with him and the Mimiko clan on the death of their matriarch, Alhaja Muinat Mimiko.
The Chairman while bearing the condolence message from the party, congratulated the Mimikos’ for the great woman “Mama Ruka” was while alive. He stated instances where Mama called to pray for him and the deep concern and love she expressed towards him and others, whom she had ‘adopted’ in her heart.
While responding on behalf of the Mimiko clan, Prof. Femi Mimiko thanked the delegation on behalf of the Patriarch, Dr. Segun Mimiko and expressed appreciation to the PDP for their show of respect and love for the Mimikos. He fondly mentioned the impact of such cross partisan empathy in bridging the conversation space. Prof. Mimiko also thanked the chairman and members of the delegation for showing respect to the former Governor.
