Ondo South Can Become the Wealth of the Region- Senator Tofowomo

Senator Nicholas Tofowomo has reiterated the commitment of his led representation in Ondo South senatorial district to ensure its holistic transformation .

He revealed this while speaking with newsmen in Abuja on the 5th of October, 2021. According to him, Ondo South has the potential to become a strategic economic base which will spin great financial wealth for Ondo State and the Southwest region in general.

In his words, ” We have the seaport here which is the longest in West Africa, I will continue to make a case for this in the national assembly because with the seaport here, the Apapa seaport will be discongested.

Also we have the Igbo Olodumare here and I have made a case for the establishment of an institution of culture and tourism here which will not only see to the preservation of its rich heritage but also it promotion”.

The highly vocal senator also revealed that unlike two/three term senators in the Red Chamber who could easily influence the allocation of Budget to their favour because of their long term stay in the house, he will continue to ensure that he explores every means possible to advance his people.

He also stated that he is not bothered about re-election talk because he is just in the second year of his representation and that the party leaders will decide that when the time comes.

In his words,” I am not bothered with re-election talk because that is not my priority at the moment, my priority is to serve the people and I am committed to that. The Party leaders will decide that when the time comes”

Furthermore more while commending the party leaders and members of the People’s Democratic Party in the State, he also stated that Nigerians have now witnessed the realities of both the APC and the PDP in Nigeria and they can now see that the APC has nothing good to offer them
