ONDO GUBER POLL: Campaign Council holds inaugural meeting * DONATE 2M FOR AKEREDOLU RE-ELECTION The Civil society and support group under the All Progressives Congress, APC,Campaign Council for the October 10th, 2020 Governorship election in Ondo State has held its inaugural meeting in Akure the state capital The Chairman of the committee, Chief Alex Ajipe in his opening remarks, charged members of the  Committee to work conscientiously and harmonize their respective political level-headedness for APC to record outstanding success in the election. Ajipe who is also the convener of IBI GIGA AMBASSADORS, a group campaigning for the re-election bid of the state governor said that Akeredolu’s developmental stride in his first tenure must be sustained beyond 2020. He said: “Akeredolu is a blessing to humanity and Ondo people. He has performed creditably well in all sectors so therefore we must support his reelection in other to continue his giant strides in the state “Our task in this committee is to meet with more civil society groups and win them to our side. We have many of them with us already but we still need to work and bring more to our folds “you don’t need to be afraid to sell Akeredolu to the people because We are proud of his achievements in the last three and half years. He has brought governance closer to the people. People can see what he has done. “therefore, Our mandate is to continue to acquaint the people of Ondo State with the SIMPLE agenda and the realistic plans of governor Akeredolu to move Ondo State forward by providing more jobs, true leadership, and bring more infrastructure development to the state. Ajipe called on all well-meaning people of the State to support the government and the re-election of the governor, saying he had attracted massive infrastructure development to the state. Also at the inaugural meeting, members of the committee donates two million, eight hundred thousand naira ( 2.8m) for the reelection of governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
