Expression of Gratitude and Appreciation

Dear esteemed guests and fellow citizens,

I am overwhelmed with gratitude and appreciation as I express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who made the celebration of my 10th coronation anniversary, 70th birthday and the installation of the new chiefs a resounding success.

On behalf of myself, my family and the good people of Oru Ijebu, I, His Royal Highness, Oba (Dr.) Abdur-Razaq Olufemi Adebanjo (Okikiopekun, Yangunsen 1), humbly extend my deepest gratitude and appreciation for your unwavering support and contribution towards the successful celebration of events.

Above all, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Almighty God for His abundant blessings and guidance throughout these significant milestones. His divine intervention has undoubtedly played a pivotal role in the success of the events.

I am eternally grateful to the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, for his continuous support and encouragement. Your presence throughout the celebration added a touch of honour and significance to the occasion. Your dedication to the welfare and progress of the people of my Kingdom, Oru Ijebu and Ogun State as a whole is truly commendable.

I also extend my gratitude and appreciation to the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Her Excellency, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, Deputy Chief of Staff, Chief Toyin Taiwo and to the esteemed Members of the Ogun State Cabinet, we appreciate your presence and support.

I would also like to express my deepest appreciation to Senator Lekan Mustapha and former Deputy Minority Whip, Federal House of Reps, Rt. Hon Abdel-Mojeed Segun Adekoya, for their invaluable support and active participation in making the celebration remarkable. Your presence and contributions were truly cherished and inspiring.

The former Deputy Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Senator Adegbenga Sefiu Kaka, the Senator representing Ogun Central Senatorial District, Senator Shuaib Afolabi Salisu, Member, Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Joseph Folorunso Adegbesan, the former Deputy Speaker, OGHA, Dr Olatokunbo Oshi, member, OGHA, Hon. (Engr) Segun Odunuga Kaka and many other important figures to mention but a few for gracing the occasion with your presence and your support.

My sincere thanks go to our respected Royal fathers for gracing the occasion. The Orimolusi of Ijebu Igbo and the Chairman traditional Council of Obas in Ijebu North Local Government, His Royal Highness, Oba Lawrence Jaiyeoba Adedeji Adebayo, the Ebumawe of Ago Iwoye, Limeri of Awa Ijebu, the Alaporu of Ilaporu and all the Royal Fathers. Your presence brought an air of regality and prestige, further consolidating the unity and harmony among our esteemed traditional rulers.

I also extend my appreciation to the Baales, Oloriruns, Osugbos, Otunbas and Chiefs for their support.

I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to the chief host, our son, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mr Tokunbo Talabi for his unwavering support. Your contributions, support, and goodwill towards this event have been tremendous, and I am truly humbled by the outpouring of love and support.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the newly installed chiefs who have accepted this noble responsibility. Your commitment to upholding the traditions and enhancing the progress of our community is highly commendable.

Last but not least, to the members of the Planning committee headed by, Chief Gbenga Sunday Idowu, and finally to all sons and daughters of Oru Ijebu for your tireless efforts in making this event a huge success. Your commitment and hard work have been instrumental in making the event memorable and impactful.

This momentous celebration would not have been possible without the collective efforts and support of all involved. Once again, I express my sincerest appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of this grand occasion.

May my reign as the Oloru of Oru Ijebu continue to be filled with blessings, prosperity, and unity for the betterment of our community and our people.
