Okeagbe Community holds solidarity rally for Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Fatai Atere

Residents of Okeagbe Community in Akoko North West Local government area of Ondo State held a solidarity movement for a Member of the House of Representatives, representing Akoko North Federal Constituency of the State, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo for his re-election in the 2023 general election.

The rally which was held at Okeagbe Akoko by the three Quarters in Okeagbe Ward 3, Afa, Ido and Aje was to reciprocate Hon. Tunji-Ojo love as well “thank you” for the efficient representation he has given the Constituency.

Some of the dignitaries present includes, Elder Samson Ayodele Akande, Chairman Akoko North West Local government, Hon. Chief Olumuyiwa Asagunla,the odofin ogbooye of Afa kingdom, Hon Ojo Akeju (Amani), Hon Kehinde Obanla among others

In his address, Hon. Evang. Olumuyiwa Asagunla, the Odofin Ogboye of Afa Okeagbe Akoko said the movement was organised to galvanise support for All Progressives Congress Candidates in the area which include, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President, Pastor Jide Ipinsagba as Senator Ondo North Senatorial District, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo as Member,Akoko North East/West Federal Constituency and Hon Bolaji Fatai Atere as Member house of Assembly, Akoko North West Constituency 1 come 2023 general poll.

Asagunla noted that from the massive participation of the people in the movement, the people of constituency are ready and willing to vote for all APC candidates.

“Our support for Tunji-Ojo was due to his proven excellent track record, who is able to consolidate on the gains of the present, drive inclusive growth, and lead our constituency to become more prosperous.

He noted that All Progressives Congress Candidates, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Pastor Jide Ipinsagba, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and Hon Bolaji Fatai Atere are visionary and they all have what it takes to continue to develop Ondo North Senatorial District.

However, the Chairman Akoko North West Local government, Elder Samson Ayodele Akande in his speech said Hon. Tunji-Ojo deserved to be reelected for second term in office saying that “with this crowd, I want to tell you that we shall come out victorious in the 2023 general election because we have the support of the masses”

“Hon. Tunji-Ojo remains the choice of the people and we shall work for him to ensure he wins”, Akande maintained.

Earlier, the event was declared opened by Hon Ojo Akeju, Chairman, APC Ward 3 as he welcomed everyone present to the event after which he handed over the podium to Hon Chief Olumuyiwa Asagunla.

At the event, there was empowerment to all categories of people to curb the rate of poverty level in the area.
