ODUA SEEKS TRANSFER OF CASE INVOLVING EX-STAFF

Odua Investment Company has sought the transfer of case involving the conglomerate and his ex management staff, Mr. Abiodun Adedeji. The presiding Judge of National Industrial Court of Nigeria, Justice JD Peter Read the petition written by the Group Managing Director of the Company, Mr Adewale Raji.

He alleged that the Judge, was bias against the conglomerate which was responsible for the loss of all the two cases before the judge.
The Judge in transferring the case explained that the two cases that were decided so far was based on law.

The judge accused Odua of not following the law after judgement had been delivered. He said that the case between Odua and another Management staff, Mrs Yinka Tunji Ojo where Odua was asked to pay N83 million to the latter due wrongful retirement demands that Odua should pay the judgement sum to the court in an interest yielding account.

Rather Odua opted for Bank Guarantee for the conglomerate to proceed to Apppeal Court which the Judge down. This infuriated the company and its Group Managing Director petitioned the Judge.


The case between Mr. Abiodun Adedeji and Odua Investment Company Limited was later transferred to Court 2 of the National Industrial Court within the same Ibadan Division.
