NYMSA endorses Okupe for 2023 presidency

Noble Youths Mass Support Association (NYMSA) an NGO, has endorsed Dr Doyin Okupe, as presidential candidate for 2023 general elections in the country.

Hon. Godwin Onmonya, the national coordinator of the group, made the group’s position known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Sunday.

Omonya explained that the group endorsed Okupe as its own preference of presidential candidate because he is a reliable and credible choice for the Presidential race.

He described Dr Okupe as a God-sent, adding that he was capable of turning around the country’s economy, employment for the youths, Agricultural innovation and protection of lives and property.

According to him, Okupe will create the enabling environment for businesses to thrive, restore respect for the rule of law and job upportunities for the development of the country.

“He is a Nigerian physician and politician who co-founded Royal Cross Medical Centre and was the National Publicity Secretary of National Republican Convention.

“Our decision to stand by Okupe is neither unguided nor borne out of sentiments, rather it is as a result of extensive analysis and assessment.

The national coordinator added that the group was committed to delivering more than five million votes for him, in the 2023 general elections.

However, he urged the group’s members in all the states of the federation to ensure that they collect their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs) in preparation to the general elections.

“It is on behalf of the group that I hereby endorse his candidacy and promise to deliver more than five million votes in the country which is why we must all get our PVCs ready.

“The task ahead of us is huge but with dedication, hard work and the support of our members in all the states of the federation, we will surely come out victorious,” Omonya said. (NAN)
