Lagos vulcaniser to die by hanging for stealing N57k
A vulcaniser, identified as Chidozie Onyinchiz has been sentenced to death by hanging for robbing a nurse of N57,000 in Lagos.
The 32-year-old was convicted and sentenced to an Ikeja Special Offences Court presided over by Justice Mojisola Dada.
Justice Dada held that the prosecution had proved the three-count charge of conspiracy, armed robbery and membership of an unlawful society against Onyinchiz.
Dada said the convict’s attempt escape of the charges was futile.
