Dr. Kingsley Kuku has named his preferred candidate for the presidency of the Ijaw National Congress. This he made known through a press release on the 18th of April 2021.
According to him, all the presidential aspirants contesting for the election are well qualified for the office, however Dr. Chris Ekiyor stands tall and more qualified among the lots.
Dr. Christopher Ekiyor is the former IZON EBE President, former UNIBEN student union President, former IYC President, corner Chairman of Patani LGA, former Delta State Commissioner and a successful medical practionner.
According to Dr. Kingsley Kuku, Dr. Chris sacrificed everything and even almost lost his life in the process to ensure the collective safety of the Ijaw Nation
In his words,” Ijaw Nation won’t have a saint to lead-serve us, there is no Angel Michael or Uriel here. We are all flawed humanly. We imperatively need a patriot. A truly good Ijaw man or woman who loves our motherland enough to serve selflessly”
” Let us speak up and vote this imperfect, outspoken and patriot entrenched in our issues these fearful times. Chris Ekiyor will serve for posterity, I am convinced” he added
He also promised to work assiduously with whoever emerges victorious in the election for the growth of Ijaw Nation.
