Kolawole Babatunde: Extending the Frontiers of the BAT Movement

Ahead of the 2023 presidential election in Nigeria, if there’s anything that the emergence of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has shown the majority, it’s his natural ability to get the right hands to work with him.

Not only this, but this period has seen the emergence of men and women who have strongly given themselves to the BAT movement across their respective communities in the country.

In Ondo State, it is worthy to note that Hon. Kolawole Babatunde ranks well in this category of people. The Director General of the Campaign Council of the APC for Ondo North Senatorial District has continued to pull his resources to continually mobilize grassroots support for the ruling party, and his efforts have been met with tremendous progress.

To his credit, various groups from different political parties in the Senatorial District have decamped to the ruling party, pledging their support for the APC in the forthcoming election.

The strategic political administrator has also continued to build a strong political base for the party to harness effectively in the forthcoming elections. Aside from this, his wonderful interpersonal skills and qualities have continued to help him reach across various ideological differences, bringing all together for one cause, which is to ensure victory for the APC in the fourth coming election.

The most recent was the strategic meeting at the Royal Birds in Alagbaka, Akure, and Ondo State, where he met with selected party leaders.

Those at the crucial meeting included Dr. Jide Owoka, Secretary to the Campaign Council; Mrs. Adedugba Omolola, Women Mobilizer and Owo Local Government APC Women Leader; Hon. Kayode Ware, Akoko South West DG for Jide Ipinsagba; Hon. Olorunmo ChemChem, former Akoko South East Local Government Chairman and Jide Ipinsagba’s DG for the Local Government; Dr. Anthony Modupe, former Ose Local Government Chairman; Hon. Rasheed Badmus, DG for Akoko North East/Akoko North West Federal Constituency and one-time Commissioner; Bar. Adejombo, DG for Akoko South East/Akoko South West Federal Constituency; Hon. Ganiyu Dauda, former House of Reps Member; Chief Olusegun Adebisi from Akoko North West; Hon. Eni Omosule, also a former member of the House of Representatives and Mr. Funso Ogunbolade.

With these political eggheads coming together in Ondo State, there is no doubt that the BAT movement in Ondo State is headed for success.
