JUBILATION AS INTERIOR MINISTER, HON. OLUBUNMI TUNJI-OJO GIFTS TOYOTA HIGHLANDER TO PA ALHAJI OLORUNTOBA, THE NEW CHAIRMAN OF AKOKO NORTH WEST ELDERS FORUM
There was jubilation today in Ogbagi-Akoko, Ondo State, as the Honourable Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, presented a Toyota Highlander Jeep to Pa Alhaji Oloruntoba, Chairman of the APC Elders Forum, Akoko North West Local Government to ease his movement across board for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The vehicle was presented on behalf of the Minister by Hon. Bankole Mohammed.
Speaking during the presentation, Hon. Mohammed said the gesture was to honour Pa Oloruntoba for his years of dedicated service to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and for his fatherly role in the party and the Local Government.
Pa Oloruntoba had previously served as Vice Chairman of the APC Elders Forum, Akoko North West, under the late Pa Erastus Akeju, before assuming the position of Chairman following the demise of the former chairman.
In his response, an elated Pa Oloruntoba expressed profound gratitude to the Honourable Minister, offering prayers for God’s continued blessings and guidance upon him.
Residents and party faithful have commended the Minister for his generosity and for remembering and honouring the elder statesman.
