Installation of Dr. Jones Ademujimi as Baba Ijo, A call to Service

It’s a gathering of family, friends and associates as Dr. Kola Jones Ademujimi was installed by the Methodist Church Owo Diocese, Idanre Circuit as the new Baba Ijo of the Church.

The Ex Chief of Staff to the immediate past Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko was accorded the honor based on his excellent contributions to the development of the Christian Family in the denomination as well as his works in the bigger society.

Dr. Kola Jones Ademujimi has over the years cemented his name as a brand that seeks the greater good of all as he has always used his resources to advance mankind.

As a respected communal man driven by a sole purpose of a selfless life, he has committed himself to helping building a community of people driven by love through his communal efforts. According to those around him, he is commonly described as a man who’s arms are wide enough to accommodate everyone, giving them a sense of belonging in the process and this endears many to him.

It was not surprising to see the way friends and families as well as associates rallied around him to donate to the church on his behalf during the installation ceremony where the venue was filled with men of high repute and calibers. As gathered from the event, Igwe as fondly called donated 1 million naira and his friends, ex-Gov. Olusegun Mimiko, Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye MHR representing Idanre / Ifedore federal constituency, Prince Kayode Aroloye, Executive Chairman of Idanre Local Government Area, Hon. Barr. Oladejo Maloye, Dr Okunriboye, Mr. Kole Desmond-Eke, Engr. Ade Adetimehin Ondo State APC Chairman, Dr. Folorunsho from Canada were among other dignities who supported him.  

His amiable qualities were better described through the words of the Former Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Rahman Olusegun Mimiko, under who the new Baba Ijo served as Chief Of Staff, while he expressed his happiness that the church had picked Sir Dr. Chief Ademujimi as the Baba Ijo and he also stated the church that they have made a right choice in him as Baba Ijo because he is a man that will plough all his human and material resources into any cause he believes in

He was crowned at the Church premises in Idanre according to the doctrine of the church. As he has always exhibited in times past, he installation as the Baba Ijo of the Church will further enable him to further harness the church’s resource, work with the pastorate to see to the advancement of the Church

Niran Jogbodo, Prince Ibukun Aroloye, Barr & Mrs. Akin Olatunji, staff of Hope Hospital & Maternity, Idanre, Dr. Taye Akintan, Prof. O. J. Jejelola (KJW), Barr. Dr. Bose George- Akinseye, Dr. Eddy Olafeso, a former Commissioner for information and National Vice Chairman, Southwest PDP, Chief Toyin Akinyemi, President, Elan Club, Akure, Hon.
