Ibi Giga Ambassadors, a foremost campaign group tasked with the mandate of outlining the unrivalled achievements of Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu, SAN in Ondo State in preparation of his second term bid hereby announces that after due consultations and very thorough deliberations, looking critically at its mandate, and the need for virile leadership to drive its objectives, Professor Lanre Olu-Adeyemi of the Department of Political Sciences, AAUA has been appointed as the Director General of the Ibi Giga Ambassadors.
Professor Olanrewaju Olu-Adeyemi has University degrees in Political Science and Law. He is a lecturer of Political Science at the Adekunle Ajasin University, Nigeria. An excellent communicator with leadership acumen, his areas of research interest are International Administration, Transitional and Development Studies. He has publications in Books and Journals. He is also the External Examiner to the Department of Public Administration (Postgraduate) of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria and University of Fort Hare, South Africa.
To serve alongside Professor Adeyemi are Bar. Alaba Eniola-Ajipe, an erudite lawyer with over two decades at the bar, and a well-respected grassroots politician, who will serve as the Deputy Director General.
Mr. Akinterinwa Yinka Salard, a veteran journalist/media practitioner, and Mr. Dapo Daramola, the former General Manager of the Nigerian Television Authority will head the media think-tank for the group.
These appointments take immediate effect, whilst plans remain underway for the grandest inauguration of any campaign group ever witnessed in the history of Ondo State. The inauguration will hold in January, 2020.
