I gave my pubic and armpits’ hairs, urine, feces and saliva to prophetess: Church sealed off, Prophetess suspended.
The Ondo State body of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church said it has sealed off a branch of the church at Apatapiti, around FUTA South gate, Akure and assembly minister suspended following an allegation made against the minister, Prophetess Amunsan (Iya Dammy Ogooluwa) by a congregant of the church.
The congregant, Ayoola Ronke, had alleged that she gave her pubic and armpits’ hairs, urine, feces and saliva to the prophetess for prayer to prevent her husband from marrying second wife.
Narrating her ordeal in a protest to the producer of Gongo Nso radio programme, Babatunde Bamigboye (Omo Edema), Ronke said she was introduced to the Church by a friend identified as ‘Iya Gbolahan about five month ago.
She said, “it was my friend that had a challenge and wanted to see the prophetess for counselling about five month ago. She asked me to accompany her there and I did.
“So, when ‘Iya Dammy Ogooluwa’ was done attending to my friend, she said there was a vision she saw concerning me and that I would really need to pray in order to avert a sudden loss of a child.”

Ronke said observed the three days prayer in church and that at the closing of the prayer on the third day, she was asked to provide a 5-litter keg of palm oil by the minister to help her appease the wicked world behind the looming woe and she did.
The woman, whose health is now terribly failing, explained further that “about four days after the prayer, I went to the church and visited the prophetess to appreciate what she did for me. But just as she sighted me, she informed me again of another vision that she saw that my husband was planning to marry another wife. I said my husband is a responsible man who I know and trust would not give to such lifestyle. But the woman said the reality of her prophecy would soon catch up with me.
“She said the 1st thing to do is that she would help me blow a powdered substance into the air to separate my husband from the woman he was planning to marry. The 2nd one is that my husband would be sedated to ‘sit at home’. And the 3rd thing is that I would have to shave and bring the hairs of my pubis, armpits, and parts of my head, my urine, feces and my saliva.
“I did all these without my husband knowing about it. A few days after, the minister informed me that she had burned those items and made available in powder which she asked me to take home and be mixing it with ewedu soup for my husband’s food for seven days.
“She also gave me a soap to use for washing my private part and shea butter to rub on it after wash—the water of which she said I should be pouring at a junction continually until the substances were finished”, the woman confessed.
When visited by Omo Edema, the alleged Prophetess Amunsan (Iya Dammy Ogooluwa) never denied the allegations made against her by the woman. She argued it was Ronke that first brought the issue of her husband to her that her husband was womanising and would not stay at home. She, however, noted that the complainant chose to go for the option requiring the hairs of her pubis and armpits, finger and toenails and other items she mentioned for her prayer.
Confirming the sealing of the church recently in Akure through a phone call, a senior member of the body of Cherubim and Seraphim Ondo state chapter who craved anonymity, said the prophetess was found wanting of the allegations against her.
According to him, “she has been suspended for now from holding services and the church has been sealed off until she genuinely repents. We can’t continue to be watching while witchdoctors take over the pulpit and corrupt the work of God in our hands”, he said.
