Abeokuta, Ogun, – March 11th, 2024 – The Commonwealth Youth Organization of Nigeria, Ogun State Chapter, recently announced the appointment of Hon. Odunuga Olusegun Ayodele Kaka as its distinguished Patron. This appointment reflects Hon. Kaka’s significant commitment to youth development and empowerment initiatives within his community and the wider state.

With a long-standing commitment to supporting youth development and fostering leadership qualities, Honorable Prince Segun Kaka brings a wealth of experience and dedication to this new position. As Patron, he will work closely with the organization to develop programs and initiatives that promote resilience and the ability to navigate obstacles effectively among the youth within the Commonwealth.

The formal ceremony, held on Monday, March 11th, 2024, at the prestigious Ogun NUJ Secretariat, Iwe Iroyin, Ibara, Abeokuta, marked the occasion of Commonwealth Day Celebration 2024. The State Coordinator, Comrade Emmanuel E. Ojo, presented Hon. Kaka with the certificate of conferment in recognition of his exceptional contributions.

During his keynote address, Hon. Segun Kaka emphasized the importance of resilience, urging youths to persevere in the face of challenges. His advocacy for resilience aligns with the organization’s goal of equipping young people with the strength and determination to overcome obstacles.

Ojo, State Coordinator of the Commonwealth Youth Organization, Comrade Christopher Olokodaba, the Founding coordinator of Commonwealth Youth Organization Ogun, Dr. Adetola Adenekan jp, Executive Director of Wopegee Dr. Moji Akinsanya, SSA ON SDG HON Damilola Otubanjo, Ahlaja Haleemot Yusuf Deputy survivor general Ogun State, princess Adeyinka Adedokun 3ACE and representatives from various youth organizations.
