Hon. Olubunmi Tunji Ojo Promises more Developmental Projects in the NDDC Region

The Chairman House of Representatives Committee on NDDC, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji Ojo has today reiterated the desire and unwavering desire of the commission to continually pursue the growth and progress of the region.

This he stated while making his remark at the event that marked the commissioning of the NDDC building headquarters in Port Harcourt on the 11th of March 2021

According to him, “The story of the Niger Delta over the years has not been too palatable because there are many negative stories which has been hindering the development of the region”

He however stated that the Commission is dedicated and poised to ensuring that the narrative is positively changed

The lawmaker also explained that the success achieved so far is made possible not just as a result of the commitment of the NDDC to dutifully ensure the progressive change but also as a result of the support granted by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari who has made it one of the bane of his administration to ensure that the Niger Delta Area is not left out of his development drive.

According to the lawmaker, “the success recorded so far is a testament and proof of the commitment of the body to make sure that the region is fully repositioned for more socio-economic progress”.

While appreciating the members of the Nigerian Legislative body for their collective contributions to the success of the project,he also stated that he hope in due time the East-West road will be soon completed and ready for commission
